Archery
PAL hits the target with our competitive archery program. Through archery, learn focus, self-control, discipline, balance, patience and the life lessons required to be successful. Kids quickly learn that slowing down and focusing one step at a time have benefits in archery.
Archery helps PAL youth hit the bullseye in the classroom through increased confidence, self-esteem and motivation.
Our archery program is made possible with a generous donation of equipment from the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Missouri Conservation Heritage.
Archery is open to all youth at PAL and offered year-round, Friday, 4-5:30 p.m. This program is coordinated by Officer Shawnie Nix.
“When we work with kids with sports, it gets kids comfortable being around police officers.”
